This winter, The Lodge Wadjemup invites you to a three-part series of indulgent wine experiences designed to warm the senses.

Spanning three curated events from July to August, the Winter Wine Series brings together award-winning winemakers, celebrated chefs, and seasonal ingredients for a showcase of Western Australian wine and cuisine.

Each event offers a unique experience—from intimate fireside tastings to long truffle lunches and a blind wine tasting competition—set against the stunning backdrop of Wadjemup. Enjoy multi-course menus paired with premium wines, guided tastings, and the chance to meet the makers behind each bottle.

Meet the Maker - Deep Woods Estate

5 pm - 8 pm, 28 June 2025

Celebrate the artistry of Julian Langworthy, crowned Winemaker of the Year, with a four-course culinary journey curated by Executive Chef Mat Powell.

Hosted in the Lake View Bar at Sunsets Rottnest, each course is paired with Deep Woods Estate wines, including the award-winning Chardonnay, and set to the sound of live acoustic music.

With just 50 seats available, this intimate evening by the salt lakes is a true celebration of flavour, craftmanship, and connection.

Truffles - East & West is a long table lunch like no other, a decadent afternoon of flavour, storytelling, and seasonal indulgence.

Taking place at Sunsets Rottnest, enjoy canapes on arrival as Mathew and Guy Jeffreys present four truffle-infused courses, each paired with wines from Fogarty Wine Group. With acoustic tunes and talks from the winemakers and producers sharing stories behind the dishes and the joys of truffle hunting, it's the perfect way to savour winter's finest.

Blind Tasting Wine Tasting & Dinner

Held in the Lakeside Conference Space at The Lodge Wadjemup, this casual and social evening invites you to taste a curated selection of wines, enjoy a shared feasting-style dinner, and vote for your favourite drop of the night.

The top-rated wine takes the crown—and if your vote matches the winner, you could take home a magnum of it!

With winery hosts guiding the tasting and a lively quiz-night style energy, this is the perfect winter event for wine lovers.
